Entrance of heavy vehicles to Kyiv restricted on Tuesday morning

On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, the entrance of heavy vehicles to the city of Kyiv was restricted from 07:00 a.m., the Emergency Department of Kyiv City State Administration reports.
“The decision was taken by city authorities to avoid creating additional obstacles to snow clearing vehicles on the capital city roads,” the report states.
In addition, municipal service providers are working around the clock due to severe weather conditions.
Kyiv city authorities are calling on drivers not to leave their vehicles at the side of roads or prohibited parking areas and prefer public transport to personal vehicles during snowfall.
