Tokyo Paralympics: Swimmer Krypak wins his fifth gold

Ukrainian swimmer Maksym Krypak has won his seventh medal at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo (Japan).

On day ten of the Games, the 26-year-old Paralympian claimed gold in the men's 200m medley, setting a Paralympic record of 2:05.68, according to Ukrinform.

Krypak earlier won gold medals in the 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 400m freestyle and 100m backstroke, silver in the 50m freestyle, and bronze in the 4x100m freestyle relay.

Ukraine's Paralympic team has won 90 medals at the 2020 Games so far, including 22 gold, 43 silver, and 25 bronze medals.
