Police clearance certificate can be get in Diia

The Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched a new service in the Diia app that allows Ukrainians to obtain a police clearance certificate in a few clicks.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology - Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrinform reports citing the ministry's press service.

"The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation continues to digitize the most popular public services. A police clearance certificate is one of the most popular documents in the country. About 1 million Ukrainians receive it annually. Now the document can be obtained in Diia. We have automated the process of preparing the extract and made it as clear and fast as possible so that Ukrainians can use a convenient online service," the Minister said.

To get a police clearance certificate in Diia, you need to: go to the Services section in the application; select Certificates and extracts - Police clearance certificate; select the type and purpose of the request; fill in your information; and send the request. If the information about you is in the central database and does not require additional verification, the data will be pulled from the registers and the extract will be generated automatically.

As reported, in April, the Verkhovna Rada passed in the first reading draft law No. 9165, which will allow Ukrainians to choose programs and projects financed by the State Regional Development Fund using the Diia portal.
