SkyUp plans to launch 30 new routes in 2020

In 2020, SkyUp Airlines plans to launch 30 new routes from Kyiv and regions of Ukraine to Italy, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Israel, Bulgaria, Georgia and Cyprus.

 “In 2020, SkyUp Airlines plans to expand its fleet with two more Boeing aircraft. Already in spring and summer, the flight geography will begin to expand due to more than 30 new routes from Kyiv and regions – to Italy (Rome, Bologna, Bergamo, Lamezia Terme, Naples, Bari, Pisa, Rimini), Greece (Zakynthos, Corfu, Heraklion), Portugal (Lisbon), Spain (Barcelona), Israel (Tel Aviv), Bulgaria (Burgas), Georgia (Batumi, Tbilisi), Cyprus (Larnaca),” Ukrinform learnt from the airline’s report.

The company plans to open online check-in for their flights this year.

Ukrainian SkyUp Airlines was founded in June 2017, the first flight was performed on May 21, 2018. The airline fleet consists of six medium-haul Boeing 737-800 NG (189 seats); two medium-haul Boeing 737-700 NG (149 seats); two medium-haul Boeing 737-900 ER (215 seats).

In 2019, SkyUp launched nearly 40 new routes from Kyiv and regions. SkyUp currently flies to Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Austria, Albania, Georgia, Armenia, Egypt, Israel and Sri Lanka.

SkyUp also operates domestic flights between Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Kharkiv and Lviv.
