Belgium joins Special Tribunal for Russia’s crime of aggression against Ukraine
The Kingdom of Belgium has decided to join the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression committed by Russia against Ukraine.
This was reported by the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the social network X on Thursday, according to Ukrinform.
“Belgium joins the Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine,” the ministry stated.
The Foreign Ministry noted that the Tribunal was established within the framework of the Council of Europe and has a mandate to prosecute senior political and military leaders for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.
As reported earlier, the European Parliament supported the swift launch of the Special Tribunal on the crime of aggression committed by Russia against Ukraine and called on all EU member states to join the initiative.
