Zelensky signs laws extending martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilization for another three months.
According to Ukrinform, this is evidenced by the document records on the Verkhovna Rada website: No. 15197 “On the Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine ‘On the Extension of Martial Law in Ukraine’” and No. 15198 “On the Approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine ‘On the Extension of General Mobilization.’”
The President returned them to parliament with his signature on April 30.
As reported by Ukrinform, on April 28, the Verkhovna Rada adopted laws extending martial law and general mobilization for another three months. The duration of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine has been extended until August 2, 2026.
