The dialogue with members of the Verkhovna Rada will continue on a systematic basis.

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"I hope this dialogue will continue on a systematic basis. At our last major meeting, we agreed to hold another one soon," Budanov said, commenting on cooperation between the Office of the President and parliament.

In response to a follow-up question from Ukrinform about whether these meetings with MPs would be regular, Budanov emphasized that they would be held on a systematic basis.

"What we need is a systematic approach. I believe in systems. You can solve something reactively – but only once. And one-time solutions won't be enough for us. We need sustained unity. We keep returning to that point," Budanov added.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported on a voting crisis in the Verkhovna Rada related to MPs' reluctance to support government initiatives that are painful for the population, including tax changes for individual entrepreneurs (FOPs), the abolition of the duty-free limit on parcels, and others. MPs blocked the podium, and it was impossible to gather the 226 votes required to pass unpopular decisions.
