The Marshal of the Polish Sejm, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, will visit Ukraine next week and deliver a speech in the Verkhovna Rada on February 24.

His speech will focus on three topics, including support for Ukraine's sovereignty, its European future, and pressure on Russia. He stated this in an interview with Ukrinform.

“There are three issues. First, full support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Second, the need to maintain pressure on Russia. Third, Ukraine's European future. It will be a speech about security, responsibility, the future, and friendship,” Czarzasty said.

He added that Warsaw supports Kyiv's European path and is ready to share its vision and experience of the European integration process.

The marshal of the Polish Sejm stressed that he wants to be in Kyiv with Ukrainians on February 24, as this has “political and symbolic” significance for him.

"This is the day when Russia decided to destroy a sovereign state and defeat its people. We Poles know what that means. But Russia did not crush you. As Marshal of the Sejm of Poland, a member state of the EU and NATO, your neighbor and friend, I want to be in Kyiv at a time when Ukraine is reminding the world that it is defending not only itself but also the European security order. Ukraine's stability and resilience are part of Poland's security. I believe that at such moments, presence matters, both politically and symbolically. It is an honor for me to speak in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine," Czarzasty emphasized.
