Poland continues financial support for Starlink in Ukraine

During the full-scale war, Poland has provided Ukraine with over 29,000 Starlink terminals and continues to financially support their operation.

This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Poland is our strategic and reliable partner. During the full-scale war, Poland has delivered over 29,000 Starlink terminals and continues to financially support their operation. This is a colossal contribution to Ukraine’s resilience,” the ministry said.

The ministry expressed gratitude to Krzysztof Havkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland, and the entire Polish government for their steadfast support, solidarity, and openness to cooperation.

During the full-scale war, Starlink terminals have enabled hospitals, schools, critical infrastructure, and frontline regions to stay connected even during the most severe blackouts, the ministry noted.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, SpaceX, at the request of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, began countering Shahed strike drones using Starlink technology.

Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov also announced the launch of Starlink terminal verification in Ukraine.
