Zelensky to discuss sensitive aspects of Abu Dhabi talks with Ukrainian delegation

On Saturday, February 7, a meeting will take place with the Ukrainian delegation to discuss sensitive aspects of the negotiations in Abu Dhabi. Talks with European partners are also planned.

This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening video address, Ukrinform reports.

"I have scheduled a meeting for tomorrow with our delegation: the team is returning to Ukraine today, late in the evening, and tomorrow, they will report on the sensitive aspects of the negotiations in Abu Dhabi that cannot be discussed over the phone," he said.

The President noted that the Ukrainian side is preparing for upcoming trilateral meetings.

Zelensky also announced that talks with European partners will take place tomorrow.

"At the same time, our parliamentary diplomacy is working in the United States – the Chairman of the Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk. Before his trip, we discussed priorities with him. This includes support for our state, our people, and our negotiations as well," the President said.

He reminded that the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament has already met with Speaker Johnson, members of Congress, and many friends of Ukraine in the U.S., and also participated in the Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast.

"I want to thank everyone for their support, and thank you, Ruslan, for productive parliamentary diplomacy," Zelensky added.

The President emphasized that all of the country’s efforts must be directed toward supporting Ukraine, supporting Ukrainians, and supporting the nation’s defense, resilience, and independence.

"Supporting Ukraine is bringing us closer to the conditions when this war will become pointless for Russia. We will definitely endure,” he concluded.
