Ukraine has not yet received invitation to G7 meeting in France on January 22 – Zelensky

Ukraine has so far not received an invitation from French President Emmanuel Macron to join the Group of Seven meeting scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 22, in Paris; however, he expects such an invitation.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this while speaking with journalists.

"As for the G7 – no, Emmanuel [Macron] has not told me anything yet. Why do I say 'yet'? Because usually, when there are major diplomatic meetings attended by leaders and when Ukraine is on the agenda, he always invites me, because he knows that our principles are shared in this matter – nothing about Ukraine is decided without Ukraine," Zelensky noted.
