Netherlands’ Foreign Minister arrives in Kyiv
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands David van Weel arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday, 28 October, for an official visit.
According to Ukrinform, he announced this on X.
“My message today in Kyiv: Ukraine can count on our maximum support to fight the Russian aggressor,” van Weel stated.
The head of the Dutch foreign ministry emphasized that Russia “terrorises Ukrainians with its horrific attacks” day after day, noting that innocent civilians continue to suffer.
Van Weel also highlighted that, with winter approaching, families in Ukraine are left without power and gas.
As previously reported, on October 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans, after which the defense ministers of both countries signed a memorandum on joint drone production.
