NATO announces Rutte's visit to U.S.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will visit New York on September 24-25 to participate in the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
This was reported by the NATO press service, according to Ukrinform.
It is noted that during his stay in New York, Rutte will meet with world leaders and officials.
On Wednesday, the NATO Secretary General will also attend a Transatlantic Dinner hosted by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
The next day, Rutte will address cadets at the United States Military Academy in West Point.
As reported by Ukrinform, the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly began on Tuesday in New York. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also participating in high-level events. The general debate will continue on September 23-27 and 29.
On Wednesday, September 24, Zelensky is expected to address the UN General Assembly and participate in the Fifth Crimea Platform summit, which will be held at the UN headquarters.
