Polish Defense Minister arrives in Kyiv
Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz arrived in the Ukrainian capital on Thursday, September 18, for a visit.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Polish Ministry of National Defense on social media X.
“Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz is visiting Kyiv with a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense and the Armed Forces of Poland,” the statement said.
It is noted that the head of the Ministry of Defense will discuss with his Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal, among other things, military cooperation, further support for Ukraine's defense, and the security situation in the context of Russian aggression.
As reported by Ukrinform, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski suggested that NATO countries consider establishing a no-fly zone over Ukraine to protect the Alliance's territory and its citizens from Russian UAVs.
