Trudeau, Sunak discuss support for Ukraine

Canada and Great Britain are ready to continue providing comprehensive support to Ukraine to repel Russia’s aggression.

This was reported by the office of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau following his conversation with his British counterpart Rishi Sunak, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The prime ministers discussed Russia's illegal and unjustified invasion of Ukraine and confirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, according to Trudeau's office.

It is noted that the interlocutors discussed the need for further coordination of efforts to rebuild Ukraine, as well as expressed concern about the aftermath of Russia's actions for the Global South and agreed to continue promoting initiatives to help those who have suffered the most, together with the G7 allies.

As reported, the next Ukraine Recovery Conference will take place in London in June.
