Zelensky thanks Biden, Sunak for supporting Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed gratitude to United States President Joseph Biden and United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for providing support to Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Thank you, the President of the United States. It’s an honor for me to visit the United States, to address the American people and Congress, to meet with the leader of the country that helps us stand. And win!” Zelensky wrote.

In his words, this visit showed that Ukraine and the United States stand together on the side of good, democracy and justice, and are creating the future together.

Additionally, the President of Ukraine expressed gratitude to United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and the British people.

“We feel your support. We feel the light and the warmth of your hearts. Light always prevails over darkness. Thus together, we will defeat evil and restore peace in Ukraine, Europe, and the world. Merry Christmas, friends!” Zelensky noted.

A reminder that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the United States Congress and its representatives for passing the budget with a multibillion aid package for Ukraine.
