Zelensky back in Kyiv after U.S. visit, his first foreign trip since war-start
President Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a video from his office in Kyiv after returning from the USA, where he was on an official visit.
The brief video was published on the head of state’s social media, Ukrinform reports.
"Good morning everyone! I salute all of you. Do you hear our phones already ringing g (the sound of the phones ringing in the background can be heard - ed.). I'm at my office. We're working toward victory. Have a good day everyone! We'll defeat them all," Zelensky said.
As reported, on December 21, President Volodymyr Zelensky made his first trip abroad after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. He visited the U.S., where he met with his American counterpart Joseph Biden and addressed both chambers of Congress.
On his way home, Zelensky also held a meeting with President Andrzej Duda of Poland.
