Zelensky, Herzog discuss security challenges posed by Russia's aggression against Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the security challenges faced by Ukraine in connection with the war in the east and Russia's occupation of Crimea with President of Israel Isaac Herzog.

"During the talks, we discussed some aspects of the situation in the Middle East, as well as security challenges faced by Ukraine in connection with the ongoing war in the east of our country – in Donbas – and in the Ukrainian Crimean Peninsula temporarily occupied by Russia," Zelensky said at a joint press conference with Herzog in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Israel is a great Middle Eastern friend and partner of Ukraine in political, security, trade, economic, and humanitarian areas, Zelensky assured.

As reported, President of Israel Isaac Herzog is on a state visit to Ukraine.
