Government dismisses two deputy ministers, head of State Migration Service

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Vasyl Bodnar as Ukraine's deputy foreign minister and Oleksiy Kurakov as Ukraine's deputy energy Minister.

Taras Melnychuk, the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada and head of the secretariat of the People's Servant faction, made this announcement in his Telegram channel following a government meeting on September 29.

According to him, Maksym Sokoliuk was dismissed as head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine. Natalia Naumenko is temporarily in charge of the service.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Kostiantyn Hura as first deputy head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, Yuriy Shafarenko as deputy head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, and Serhiy Khymchenko as first deputy head of the State Service on Export Control.

President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Bodnar as Ukraine's ambassador to Turkey in July 2021.
