Angolan businessman donates 75 electric generators to Ukraine
Angolan businessman Bento Adriano Mendes has provided Ukraine with humanitarian assistance in the energy sector, donating 75 electric generators for civilians in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to Ukrinform, the Embassy of Ukraine in Angola reported this on Facebook.
"The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Angola ensured the provision of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the energy sector in January 2026 in the form of 75 electric generators of various capacities, with an estimated value of about EUR 37,000. The equipment was donated by Angolan citizen and director of BAM-86, Comercio e Servicos (LDA), Bento Adriano Mendes, for the civilian population in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces," the statement said.
The embassy noted that the majority of the equipment – 47 generators – has already been delivered to Ukraine.
