Transformer delivered to Ukraine from German thermal power plant

A transformer has been delivered to Ukraine from a thermal power plant in the German city of Karlsruhe to stabilize the power supply amid Russian attacks.

This was reported on Facebook by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

“The transformer from the power plant in Karlsruhe is already in Ukraine. It will help stabilize the power supply amid Russia's ongoing attacks on the Ukrainian power grid,” the diplomatic mission said.

The embassy added that the transformer was donated by the Rheinhafen steam power plant in Karlsruhe and delivered to Ukraine with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, Kamianets-Podilskyi received a social taxi from its sister city in Germany, Esslingen am Neckar, to transport veterans and people with disabilities.
