Ukraine’s grain, legume exports almost at 41.6M tonnes since MY start}

Over the 10 months of the current marketing year (from July 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023), Ukraine exported 41.595 million tonnes of cereals and legumes.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukrinform saw.

Ukraine exported 14.385 million tonnes of wheat, 2.461 million tonnes of barley, 17,900 tonnes of rye, and 24.424 million tonnes of corn.

For comparison: from July 2021 to April 30, 2022, Ukraine exported 45.869 million tonnes of grains and legumes, including 18.526 million tonnes of wheat, 5.668 million tonnes of barley, 161,900 tonnes of rye, and 21.211 million tonnes of corn.

In April 2023, 3,619,000 tonnes of grain and legumes were exported from Ukraine (923,000 tonnes in April last year), including 1,387 million tonnes of wheat (127,000 tonnes in April last year), 185,000 tonnes of barley (25,000 tonnes) and 2,042 million tonnes of corn (769,000 tonnes). In April of this year and in April 2022, Ukraine did not export any rye.

Since the start of MY 2022/2023, Ukraine has also exported 127,700 tonnes of flour (in MY 2021/2022, it was 68,600 tonnes).

As reported earlier, referring to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, from January to April 2023, Ukraine exported more than 22.3 million tonnes of agricultural products, including over 11.1 million tonnes of corn, more than 5.3 million tonnes of wheat, and over 765,000 tonnes of barley.
