Military tax revenue rises 27.5%, budget receives over UAH 43B in Q1

In January–March 2026, Ukrainians paid UAH 43.5 billion in military tax to the state budget, which is UAH 9.4 billion more than during the same period last year.

This was reported by the press service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

“In January–March 2026, military tax revenues to the budget amounted to UAH 43.5 billion. This is 27.5% more than during the same period last year. Last year, UAH 34.1 billion in military tax were collected,” the statement reads.

It is noted that the largest amounts of military tax revenue came from: the city of Kyiv – 14.2 billion UAH; Dnipropetrovsk region – 4.6 billion UAH; Lviv region – 3.4 billion UAH; Kharkiv region – 2.8 billion UAH.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in principle and in full government bill No. 15110 regarding the extension of the military levy for three years after the end of martial law.
