Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink have discussed priority projects for the rebuilding of Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, the head of government said this in a Telegram post.

"We are establishing close coordination between our ministries and the United States government for important and specific projects on the reconstruction that has already begun," Shmyhal said.

First and foremost, Ukraine counts on the support of partners in restoring its energy and critical infrastructure, as well as in humanitarian demining and business support programs, Shmyhal said.

Restoring people's homes is a priority for the government, he added.

During the meeting, both parties also discussed cooperation with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

"We agreed with the Fund on the launch of a new large-scale program. We are also grateful to the World Bank Group for its assistance in conducting the second Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment that will serve as a basis for reconstruction this year," Shmyhal added.
