Ukrainians purchased almost 1,300 used electric cars in Feb - Ukrautoprom

In February 2023, Ukrainians registered almost 1,300 used electric vehicles and 413 new electric vehicles, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Ukrautoprom).

“Over the past month, the domestic fleet was replenished with almost 1,300 used electric vehicles.  This is three times more than the number of new electric vehicles purchased for the same period," the report says.

The association notes that the average age of these vehicles was 4 years.

Nissan Leaf remains the most popular model in this segment of the car market. Over the past month, 208 used Leaf vehicles were registered in Ukraine.

The top five most popular electric vehicles were Tesla Model 3 – 162 units, Volkswagen ID.4 – 145 units, Tesla Model Y – 85 units, Dongfeng (Honda) – 81 units.

As reported, in February 2023, Ukrainians registered 413 new electric vehicles, which is three times higher than in the same period last year. Compared to January 2023, the number of new electric vehicles sold increased by 40%.
