Czech Airlines plans to resume flights to Ukraine in May

Czech Airlines has become one of the first airline carriers to announce its intention to resume flights to Ukraine in May 2020.

The Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) wrote about this on its Facebook page.

"The Czech flag carrier CSA-Czech Airlines plans to resume regular flights from Prague to Kyiv from May 24 and to Odesa from May 25," the statement reads.

On March 12, the Government introduced the quarantine in Ukraine to counteract the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. Railway, aviation, bus intercity and interregional passenger transportation services have been suspended in Ukraine since March 18. The emergency situation regime has been in effect throughout the country since March 25.

On May 4, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended quarantine until May 22 but eased some measures.
