Ukraine receives EUR 2.3B under Ukraine Facility – Ministry of Finance

Ukraine has received the sixth tranche of EUR 2.3 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility financial instrument.

That is according to the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"Ukraine's state budget has received EUR 2.3 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility financial instrument. Specifically, the Ukrainian government raised EUR 2.1 billion in loans and EUR 200 million in grants," the statement reads.

The funds will be allocated to finance the state's priority social and humanitarian expenditures.

Since 2024, more than EUR 26.7 billion has already been transferred to the state budget, including over EUR 10.6 billion in 2025 alone.

To receive this latest regular EU tranche, Ukraine successfully completed eight reform steps required for the sixth tranche, as well as one step from the fourth tranche.

The European Union remains Ukraine's largest donor of financial support, providing EUR 70.7 billion since February 2022. In 2025 alone, Ukraine received over EUR 28.7 billion in financial assistance from the EU.

The Ukraine Facility is a support instrument launched and approved by the EU Council on February 28, 2024, with a total volume of EUR 50 billion for 2024-2027, and ratified by Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada on June 6, 2024. It is aimed at providing stable financial support, promoting economic recovery, and advancing reforms in Ukraine.
