The National Police detained a group whose members transported military personnel from their places of service and smuggled them across the border.

This was reported by the National Police press service, according to Ukrinform.

As noted, the cost of the “service of transporting and delivering the ‘client’ to their chosen destination” was $16,000, with subsequent transfer across the state border of Ukraine costing $40,000.

The money was transferred to a crypto wallet or given in cash. Agents of the Department of Strategic Investigation and police investigators detained the organizer and six members of the criminal group. In addition, two military personnel were detained, whom the suspects helped to leave their unit.

Police investigators announced their suspicions to the group's members. As a result of the searches, law enforcement officers seized money, more than two dozen mobile phones, bank cards, cars, lists, and photographs of military personnel, and draft notes.
