Vehicle strike on funeral procession in Sumy: one victim dies in hospital

One of the victims of the drone attack on a funeral procession has died in a hospital in Sumy.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Unfortunately, a man who sustained severe injuries as a result of the Russian strike on the funeral procession in Sumy has died in the hospital,” Hryhorov wrote.

According to him, the identity of the deceased is currently being established.

As reported, on Saturday, May 23, on the outskirts of Sumy, a Russian FPV drone struck a funeral procession. Nine people were injured, and two were reported to be in critical condition.
