Russian forces shelling Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv region, injuries reported

Russian forces are once again shelling the town of Bohodukhiv in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, causing injuries and damage.

Mayor of Bohodukhiv Volodymyr Bielyi reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy continues to terrorize the civilian population of Bohodukhiv. After yesterday’s numerous strikes on homes, farms, administrative buildings, and the town center, the shelling is ongoing today. Unfortunately, there are wounded people and individuals suffering acute stress reactions. All necessary assistance is being provided,” he said.

He added that medics, rescuers, communal services, and law enforcement agencies are working continuously at the scene.

Earlier, Head of the Bohodukhiv District Military Administration Anatolii Rystsov reported that two administrative buildings had been damaged in the attacks.

As reported by Ukrinform, on May 18, a Russian drone strike on Bohodukhiv injured three people. Mass attacks on the community have been ongoing since mid-April.
