Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,050 over past day

The total combat losses of Russian forces in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to May 6, 2026 amount to approximately 1,337,170 personnel, including 1,050 over the past day.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

Russia has also lost 11,918 (+1) tanks, 24,515 (+5) armored combat vehicles, 41,478 (+92) artillery systems, 1,775 (+5) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,363 (+2) air defense systems, 435 (+0) aircraft, 352 (+0) helicopters, 1,332 (+12) ground-based robotic systems, 276,061 (+2,031) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,585 (+1) cruise missiles, 33 (+0) warships/boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 94,312 (+282) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,170 (+0) pieces of special equipment.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of 22:00 on May 5, there had been 155 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian invaders along the front line.
