Russian shelling of Kramatorsk leaves two killed, several injured
In the Donetsk region, Russian troops shelled Kramatorsk in the morning. Two people who were on the street were killed.
According to Ukrinform, the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.
"On the morning of April 26, 2026, the occupiers shelled Kramatorsk. The weapons struck residential areas. As a result of the enemy attack, a woman and a man sustained injuries incompatible with life. At the time of the attack, they were outside," the regional prosecutor's office said.
According to their information, a 50-year-old civilian also suffered a blast injury, a fracture, and shrapnel wounds.
"The victim has been hospitalized in moderate condition," the regional prosecutor's office added.
It was noted that eight residential buildings were damaged as a result of the strike. The final consequences and the type of weapon used are being established.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of a war crime (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of April 25 in Kramatorsk, Russians struck a service vehicle of patrol police officers who were moving around the city while on duty.
