Ukraine’s Defense Forces strike oil refinery in Yaroslavl
Overnight on April 26, Ukraine’s Defense Forces attacked an oil refinery in the Russian city of Yaroslavl.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.
“Yaroslavl. The refinery was hit,” Kovalenko wrote briefly, publishing a corresponding video.
As Ukrinform previously reported, March 2026 marked one of the most significant periods in terms of the number of strategic facilities hit in Russia, with five factories and 10 oil refineries struck. Ukrainian Defense Forces’ strikes extended from temporarily occupied Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk regions to deep inside Russia.
