Russians shell railway infrastructure in Kharkiv region
On the night of April 20, the Russian army struck railway infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv region; no casualties were reported.
According to Ukrinform, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development reported this on Telegram.
"During the night, the enemy carried out strikes on railway infrastructure facilities in the Kharkiv region. Rolling stock, depot repair workshops, elements of the contact network and power supply, as well as the station building were damaged," the statement said.
According to the ministry, no one was injured. Restoration work is currently ongoing. Since the beginning of the year, more than 600 attacks on the railway have been recorded, with over 1,800 facilities damaged. Railway workers are promptly restoring the infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted train movement across the country every day.
As reported, on the night of April 20, three people were injured in Velykyi Burluk in the Kharkiv region as a result of a Russian drone attack.
