Air defense downs missile and 114 drones launched by Russia since evening
Air defense forces shot down one guided missile and 114 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine beginning on the evening of April 13.
According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.
Starting at 6:00 p.m. on April 13, the enemy launched an attack using four Kh-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles from the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, as well as 129 strike UAVs of the Shahed, “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” and other types, from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), temporarily occupied Donetsk, Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea), and approximately 90 Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 on April 14, air defense forces shot down or neutralized one guided air-to-ground missile and 114 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Twelve strike UAVs were recorded hitting eight locations, and debris from downed drones was found at five locations.
Information regarding three enemy missiles is being verified.
The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of April 14, Russian drones attacked civilian and port infrastructure in the south of the Odesa region.
