Defense Forces clear Minkivka of enemy forces on Bakhmut-Sloviansk highway

Assault units of the Skelya regiment cleared Minkivka of Russian forces and destroyed over 40 invaders.

 According to Ukrinform, the regiment reported this on Telegram.

"Assault units of the Skelya regiment conducted a swift and coordinated operation, as a result of which Minkivka – a key settlement on the Bakhmut-Sloviansk highway – was cleared. These actions disrupted the enemy's potential advance and stabilized the situation in the area," the report stated.

The military noted that during the battle, allied positions were deblocked, new observation posts were deployed, and significant losses were inflicted on the enemy – more than 40 Russian servicemen were destroyed.

As Ukrinform previously reported, Major Hryhoriy Shapoval, spokesperson for the "East" grouping of forces, stated that Platonivka and Minkivka in Donetsk region are under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
