The effective strike on the Kremniy EL microelectronics plant in Russia’s Bryansk demonstrates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have successfully integrated Storm Shadow missiles into their strike capabilities.

This is according to former RAF Aerospace Battle Manager Toby Dickinson in a comment to Ukrinform.

“The strike on Russia’s microelectronics factory is further evidence of the successful integration of Storm Shadow onto Ukraine’s Su-24 fleet,” he said.

Dickinson added that this also demonstrates Ukraine’s ability to degrade Russia’s military industrial capacity,”

The expert noted that Russia had to relocate a significant portion of its air defence assets from the rear to the frontline, where Ukraine is achieving success. At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces, he said, “have a good understanding of Russian air defences and was able to plan a route through the gaps.”
