Russian drone hits minibus in Kherson, civilians injured
Russian forces attacked a minibus in Kherson’s Dniprovskyi district, with preliminary reports indicating eight people were injured.
According to Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
“At noon, Russian terrorists once again deliberately targeted a minibus in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson,” the post reads.
Initial reports indicate that eight people were affected by the strike. Information is being updated.
According to the regional administration, Russian forces carried out the drone attack on the minibus around 12:00. Four passengers were hospitalized in varying conditions.
The regional prosecutor’s office has opened a pre-trial investigation into a possible war crime. Preliminary findings indicate the Russian army struck the minibus with explosives delivered by a UAV.
Earlier, on the morning of February 21, Russian forces carried out a UAV strike on a minibus in Kherson.
