Grain storage facility burned down in Chernihiv region due to Russian shelling

Late in the evening and at night, Russian troops shelled enterprises in two districts of the Chernihiv region, resulting in a grain storage facility at an agricultural enterprise being completely burned down and equipment being damaged.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, reported this on Telegram.

“Late in the evening and at night, the enemy struck enterprises in the Koriukivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi districts with Geran drones. In particular, there was a strike in the Mena district. And in the village of the Semenivka community, an agricultural enterprise was hit; a grain storage facility was completely burned down, and equipment was damaged," Chaus said.

Also, on the afternoon of March 10, 1.5 hectares of grass caught fire in the Chernihiv district due to the Geran drone attack. The fire was extinguished.

The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration noted that, in total, Russian troops fired on the region 40 times over the past day, with 76 explosions recorded.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of March 11, the Russian army attacked the city of Nizhyn and the Novhorod-Siverskyi district of the Chernihiv region with drones, damaging civilian infrastructure and a residential building.
