Russian drone attack leaves one woman killed in suburbs of Kherson

A Russian drone attacked a 74-year-old resident of the Kherson suburb of Antonivka; she died in the hospital.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, stated this on Telegram.

"Russian troops have taken the life of another resident of Antonivka," he wrote.

It is noted that at around 09:40 a 74-year-old woman sustained severe injuries as a result of a Russian drone attack. Despite doctors' attempts to save her life, the victim died in the hospital from the wounds she received.

The Kherson City Military Administration also reported that Russians attacked the 74-year-old resident of Antonivka with a drone. As a result, the victim suffered blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds, which proved fatal.

According to the city administration, Russian terrorists also attacked the settlement of Zelenivka with a drone. As a result of the strike, at least five private houses and cars were damaged. No people were injured. The administration published corresponding photos.

As Ukrinform reported, the greatest threat to the Kherson region comes from Russian drones. The occupiers use them as a tool of terror against civilians.

Every second person injured in 2025 became a victim and was wounded specifically by Russian drones.
