Ihnat: Russia increases use of ballistic missiles

In 2025-2026, Russian troops will be way more into using ballistic missiles during massive attacks on Ukraine, and this trend has been going on for a while.

Yurii Ihnat, head of communications for the Ukrainian Air Force Command, shared this on TV, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“We provided this information about the more frequent use of ballistics on such significant dates as the fourth anniversary and the end of the year, and these materials indicate that the enemy will use more ballistic missiles in 2025-2026,” Ihnat said.

According to him, about a dozen attacks were recorded this winter, during which the use of missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory increased significantly.

“There were about a dozen of them [massive strikes] during the winter, and the use of missiles flying along a ballistic trajectory has increased significantly... so this is a trend that has been going on for a long time,” he explained.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Air Defense Forces destroyed 161 of the 197 drones used by the Russian army to attack Ukraine since the evening of March 8.
