Russian strikes in Sumy region leaves five injured over past day

In the Sumy region, five people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian attacks.

According to Ukrinform, the National Police reported this on Telegram.

Three people were injured in the Sumy city territorial community. A locomotive, a trolleybus line, windows of a shopping center, private houses, and a car were damaged.

In the Nova Sloboda community, two men aged 71 and 61 were injured, and a house was damaged.

Investigative and operational police groups and explosive ordnance specialists worked at the strike sites.

Law enforcement officers inspected the territories and documented the destruction.

As Ukrinform previously reported, on the morning of March 8 in the Sumy region a Russian drone hit the locomotive of the Kyiv–Sumy passenger train.
