Explosions rock occupied Crimea near oil depot, Belbek airfield – social media
Explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea on February 4. Loud blasts were reported in the Saky district, Simferopol, from the direction of Belbek airfield, and in Hvardiiske.
This was reported by the Telegram channel Krymsky Veter, according to Ukrinform.
“At 12:19 – an explosion in the Saky district; at 12:20 – explosions in Kerch, subscribers report,” the message said.
Later, it was reported that loud explosions were heard at 13:11 in the Fontany area of Simferopol, and at 13:34 a distant explosion was heard from the direction of Belbek airfield.
After the explosions, smoke was seen rising above an oil depot in the settlement of Hvardiiske.
Two explosions were also heard in the Saky district.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Ukraine’s Defense Forces had struck a long-range space communications center in Crimea and a number of Russian air defense facilities.
