Ukrainian drones destroy column of Russian quad bikes near Vovchansk
Soldiers of the “Murchyky” UAV battalion of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Cossack Otaman Kost Hordiienko of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed nine Russian quad bikes in the Vovchansk area.
The Brigade reported this on Facebook, and also released a corresponding video, according to Ukrinform.
“A deadly ride for Russians on the Vovchansk direction from the FPV pilots of the ‘Murchyky’ UAV battalion of the 57th Brigade,” the post reads.
According to the military, the invaders mistakenly believed that quad bikes would give them a speed advantage on the battlefield. However, Ukrainian FPV drones proved faster.
“The result of the ride – nine burned quad bikes and eliminated enemy infantry,” the 57th Brigade reported.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Defense Forces also destroyed Russian shelters in the Kupiansk sector of the front.
