Fighters of the special unmanned aerial systems unit Lasar's Group of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed a Russian S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system in Russia's Belgorod region.

According to Ukrinform, the National Guard of Ukraine reported this on Telegram and released a corresponding video.

"Lasar's Group of the NGU destroyed a Russian S-400 'Triumf' air defense missile system in the Belgorod region," the statement said.

The operation to detect and neutralize the system was carried out jointly with the 429th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade Achilles and the Joint Forces Grouping.

After conducting joint analytical work, aerial reconnaissance from the 429th brigade surveyed enemy territory and identified the air defense missile system. The information was then passed to the National Guard's strike UAV unit, Lasar's Group.

"Our crews carried out a sortie to the area where the S-400 'Triumf' system was concentrated and delivered precise strikes," the post said.

The military emphasized that this significantly reduced the activity of Russian air defense systems in the Kharkiv direction.

As Ukrinform previously reported, drone operators of the 80th Separate Air Assault Halychyna Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a warehouse of UAVs, related equipment, ammunition, and military hardware belonging to Russian invaders in Russia's Kursk region.
