War update: 201 clashes on front line, nearly half on Huliaipole in Pokrovsk sectors
There have been more than 200 combat clashes on the front line, with the Huliaipole and Pokrovsk sectors remaining the hottest areas.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook as of 22:00 on February 18, 2026.
"In total, since the beginning of the day, 201 combat engagements have taken place. The enemy carried out one missile strike using one missile and 51 airstrikes, dropping 156 glide bombs. In addition, they used 3,191 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,076 shelling attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops," the military report states.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 94 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy twice assaulted Ukrainian positions near Vilcha and Fyholivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked twice near Kurylivka.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces stopped seven enemy attacks near Tverdokhlibove, Ridkodub, Drobysheve, Stavky, and Zarichne. No active assault operations are currently underway there.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy attempted five times to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and Platonivka. One assault is still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy launched eight attacks toward Bondarne, Fedorivka, and Chasiv Yar. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out 16 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. No active assault operations are currently taking place there.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy conducted 39 attacks, attempting to advance near Zatyshok, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopidhorodne, and Bilytske. Three attempts to improve their tactical position are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 47 occupiers were eliminated and 11 wounded in this sector today. Five vehicles were destroyed or damaged, 63 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed, and five enemy shelters were hit.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces attempted to advance toward Ivanivka, Ternove, Danylivka, Vyshneve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, and Sosnivka, carrying out nine assault attempts, two of which are ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, 48 enemy attacks took place near Huliaipole and toward Dobropillia, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, Hirke, Sviatopetrivka, and Verkhnia Tersa. Three attacks are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv sector, according to updated information, the enemy attacked four times toward Mala Tokmachka, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, and Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovske sector, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
No significant changes were observed in other sectors.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a number of important Russian military facilities both on the territory of the Russian Federation and in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine.
