Russians shell Chernihiv region 63 times in one day
On February 15, Russian troops shelled the Chernihiv region 63 times, with 118 explosions recorded and residential buildings damaged.
The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus, stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
Several strikes targeted the town of Semenivka. As a result of hits by a Molniya drone and an FPV drone, a private house and a company service vehicle were damaged.
In a village of the Novhorod-Siverskyi community, a residential building was damaged by an FPV drone strike. In a village of the Snovsk community, a house caught fire after a Geran drone explosion. Firefighters worked at the scene.
Another drone hit overnight but did not detonate; an outbuilding was damaged.
Chaus added that over the past week, Defense Forces units shot down 79 attack drones in the Chernihiv region.
As previously reported, a building of the Novhorod-Siverskyi District State Administration was destroyed as a result of a strike by a Russian Geran-type drone.
