Air raid alerts announced in Kyiv, several regions due to ballistic threat
In Kyiv and several regions of Ukraine, air raid alerts were issued in connection with the threat of strikes by Russian forces using ballistic missiles.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"There is a ballistic threat from the north," the message said.
In a subsequent post, the Air Forces also warned of the threat of Russian forces using ballistic weapons from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.
At 19:44, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the all-clear for the air raid alert.
As Ukrinform reported, this week the Russian army launched about 1,300 attack drones, over 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and 50 missiles at Ukraine, almost all of which were ballistic.
