Apartment blocks, cars damaged in Sumy after overnight attack
Windows in multi-story residential buildings were blown out and cars were damaged following an overnight Russian attack on Sumy.
Ukraine's State Emergency Service announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The agency said that the blast wave shattered windows in apartment buildings in Sumy and damaged vehicles.
Together with volunteers and municipal services, rescuers are carrying out emergency recovery work. A mobile heating point has been set up.
In the Shostka community of the Sumy region, an enemy attack caused a fire in a non-residential building. While extinguishing the blaze, rescuers had to withdraw to a safe area several times due to the threat of repeated strikes. State Emergency Service specialists extinguished the blaze.
No information on casualties has been reported.
