Injury toll in Russian strike on Druzhkivka rises to 15, seven killed

The number of people wounded in Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, following a Russian strike on a market has risen to 15, with seven people killed.

This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin, according to Ukrinform.

“Seven killed and 15 wounded – these are the preliminary consequences of the strike on Druzhkivka… At least seven people aged between 43 and 81 were killed. Fifteen people aged between 50 and 72 sustained injuries,” the regional chief wrote.

He recalled that earlier this morning, Russian forces shelled the market in Druzhkivka with cluster munitions.

“All the wounded are receiving the necessary medical care. All relevant services are working at the scene. We are thoroughly documenting all the consequences of this crime. Everyone responsible will be held accountable!” Filashkin stressed.

As reported, Russian troops shelled Druzhkivka in the Donetsk region with cluster munitions, striking a market and killing at least seven people. Earlier reports said eight people had been wounded.
